About the Festival
Since 1972, HBCCVB has produced Fiesta Hermosa, the “Largest Arts & Crafts Fair in Southern California,” featuring approximately 300 artists including painters, photographers, ceramicists, jewelers, sculptors, and handicrafters. The festival takes place every Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekend (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) in downtown Hermosa Beach.
Fiesta Hermosa attendees can choose from a wide selection of cuisine in the food court, which also boasts a new clean uniform look to vendors and general seating area. The AB InBev-sponsored Charity Beer & Wine Garden offers beer, wine and beeritas with proceeds benefiting a number of local charities. There is live music on two main stages as well as a new satellite stage situated outside Java Man. A full schedule is available under music lovers.
Families have plenty of activities to keep the kids happy. The Kiddie Carnival features a 30 foot slide, mechanical rides and games for kids from 3 to 10 years old. There will be pony rides, a petting zoo and face painters.
Mommies can find solace in their very own tranquil zone at the Fiesta Siesta. Fiesta Siesta is a staffed, secure Mommy zone, where diapers can be changed, babies can be nursed, water can be found, and mommies can freshen up and just relax. Alison, a very grateful mom had this to say about the Fiesta Siesta: “I was able to nurse & change my 3 month old. Just wanted to say Thank You! It was very comfortable and much appreciated!”
